Diana Learoyd is an Endocrinologist (Honorary) at Royal North Shore Hospital and an Associate Professor at Sydney Medical School. She completed her PhD in 1999 in the genetics of thyroid cancer, and of MEN2. She set up a thyroid cancer medical database at RNSH with a NSWCI grant. She has had a major role in the TKI clinical trials run at RNSH, for both DTC and MTC patients. She co-runs the endocrine tumour MDT, and has a busy clinical practice in general endocrinology with a special interest in thyroid disease of all types.
