Biomedical Engineering Research Collaboration Forum
Location:Westmead Institute for Medical Research
The Sydney Medical School (SMS) and Faculty of Engineering & Information Technologies (FEIT) are committed to strengthening research collaborations in the fields of Biomedical Engineering and Technologies.
In 2016 we ran a series of forums which led to the inaugural SMS-FEIT Biomedical Engineering Research Collaboration Scheme jointly funded by the two Faculties. The scheme aims to support, on a competitive basis, high quality research projects that foster new collaborations and incubate innovative research ideas that build scope for larger external funding opportunities.
In 2017 we will be holding two forums to foster collaborations between researchers within the Faculties, as below. Each forum with include presentations from previous grant recipients, potential collaborators and information on the upcoming grant scheme.
