Dr Jacob Scott: The genomic adjusted radiation dose: Radiation oncology enters the era of personalized medicine

Dr Jacob Scott, Dept of Translational Hematology and Oncology Research and Radiation Oncology at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio will be giving a talk on Monday August 7th at 8.30-9.30 am in the Crown Princess Mary Cancer Centre, Conference Room 2.
Dr Scott is a physician-scientist studying tumour evolution and novel methods of radiation delivery at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. Jacob, a physicist by original training, trained in radiation oncology at the Moffitt Cancer Centre and then in Mathematical Biology at the Integrated Mathematical Oncology and the University of Oxford before starting his own group in Cleveland. His clinical interest is sarcoma, in particular brachytherapy. Jacob's lab focuses on building mathematical models of evolution and cancer biology to shed light on the processes driving cancer.
