The Cancer Research Network and Breast Cancer Special Interest Group invites you to a seminar titled Establishing multidisciplinary teams in breast cancer research. All welcome!

Participants will hear from leading researchers and consumer advocates, and will have the chance to interact via a Q&A style panel discussion. Prof Kathy Refshauge, Dean, Faculty of Health Sciences, The University of Sydney, will moderate the seminar. 

The discussion will focus on:

•Establishing a multidisciplinary team
•Involving consumers in the research process, the value they bring and how they bridge the gaps
•Completing consumer review forms for cancer related funding, how these are assessed, and how much they contribute to overall grant rankings
•Understanding the concept of potential partners in research and how to pitch an idea
•Developing your team and involving consumers
•How mentors or senior team members can support you
