Kate Giles: BRG1-dependent chromatin remodelling in prostate cancer

Kate Giles is a PhD Student at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research and an applicant for the CMRI Post-doctoral research fellowship scheme.

Kate is currently a PhD student with Phillippa Taberlay (UTAS) and Sue Clarke (Garvan). She is the first applicant to the CMRI Post-doctoral training fellowship scheme. This new initiative at aims to recruit top post-doctoral candidates to CMRI and develop novel capacity within our institute. Kate will be presenting on her research using human cell lines and state-of-the-art Seq techniques to study chromatin remodelling in cancer.
