SciVal Training: analysis of research publications performance using Scopus data

SciVal provides aggregated Scopus data, and allows for analysis of research publications performance. Comparisons can be made between individuals, groups, institutions or countries, and by FoR. The package offers a wide range of metrics, has capacity for drilling down, provides data on collaborations and has the ability to build reports.
Requirements: bring your own laptop
Before the session, please register for SciVal at scival.com (Select “Register Now” as shown in the picture below.) You can register for SciVal from any University computer. If you have previously registered for SciVal, please log in to SciVal before the session to ensure that you correctly remember your login details. Please make sure that you can log in to SciVal on the laptop that you will bring to the session.
