Unlocking Research: Concept Development Workshop
Sydney Health Partners is hosting a Concept Development Workshop with Professor Anne Sales, Research Scientist at the Center for Clinical Management Research, VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System and Co-Editor-in-Chief of Implementation Science, the discipline’s leading journal.
Local Faculty with expertise in implementation science, translational and health services research will join Professor Sales to support participants to develop research concepts and practice-based projects that focus on translating evidence into practice.
• Develop or refine their concept into a proposal that can be conducted in the local setting
• Gain information and guidance on how to develop a concept from an initial idea or question
• Present the concept and engage in a constructive feedback process with faculty and gain insights into tailoring a concept for a funding application
We welcome applications from health professionals and researchers in Sydney Health Partners members institutions and the broader community of health services to apply.
Applicants must have demonstrated experience in the health system (e.g., qualifications and experience in nursing, allied health, quality improvement, health services management, medicine, health economics, public health, health policy, behavioural medicine etc.) but need not necessarily have a research background.
Applications are now open and will close 5pm, Monday 15 October 2018.Procedure and information here: https://www.slhd.nsw.gov.au/sydneyhealthpartners/Workshop.html
