Westmead Bioengineering and Surgery Mini Symposium

The University of Sydney's Faculty of Engineering and IT, together with our partners from the departments of surgery at Westmead Hospital, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and Concord Hospital, are excited to invite you to this Mini Symposium. Westmead is currently one of the leading health, education and research precincts, and is becoming a state-of-the-art centre for clinical health, research and education innovation.

Join us at 2pm, Thursday 8 September 2016, for an inspiring afternoon of talks from surgeons from Westmead Hospital, The Children's Hospital at Westmead, and Concord Hospital, along with biomedical engineers who work with the departments of surgury across the precinct and from the Faculty of Engineering and IT. These groups are coming together to present research successes, and potential projects that biomedical engineers and surgeons can work together on to devise novel solutions.
