2019 Translational Cancer Research Fellowship
The SW-TCRC is offering one Translational Cancer Research Fellowship commencing in 2019. This Fellowship is intended for clinicians close to completion of their specialist training and researchers who have completed a PhD. Applicants with other qualifications plus relevant experience are eligible to apply if appropriate for the proposed project. Fellows must be affiliated with, and endorsed by, a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) at one of the SW-TCRC sites and the program must include a suitable laboratory or MDT-based cancer research project. The fellowship is available for a period of 12 months.
• To support high level education and training of cancer clinicians and researchers.
• To offer a specialised clinical/research training opportunity to individuals early in their oncology career.
• To promote and strengthen the conduct of translational cancer research within MDT/tumour stream groups.
